Frequently asked questions
Yes, but the project should be implemented with different organisations/institutions (not the same partners) and have a new thematic focus that is not mentioned in the previous offer.
Can GIZ GloBe projects apply together with organisations/institutions in partner countries?
In general, yes. Please contact us for further information.
Which countries are German development cooperation partner countries?
All cooperation countries are listed here: http://www.bmz.de/en/countries_regions/laenderkonzentration/index.html.
Can one organisation/institution submit more than one application?
Only one application can be submitted per implementing organisation/institution.
In which languages can the applications and reports be submitted?
The applications and reports can be submitted in English or German.
Can international NGOs apply for funding?
The 2030 Agenda Transformation Fund exclusively funds activities implemented by local NGOs with their headquarters and main activities in one of the German Development Cooperation partner countries.
In the case of an individual application for a grant agreement, the application has to be submitted directly by the implementing organisation (local NGO). If the NGO does not fulfil the commercial and legal requirements, it can also apply in conjunction with a technical cooperation project (GIZ project). In that case, the GIZ project submits the joint application online and names the implementing organisation in the application.
